My daughter has a lot of fun with this magazine. After enjoying the pictures and "reading", it took her almost a week to get around to the animal cards which she took great joy in carefully cutting out (disdaining to tear them out like designed). All in all, a great little magazine which is not too much, not too little; in fact, it's just right!
Currently, July 2009, they have 1 year, 6 issues for $15 and 2 years, 12 issues for $25. These are listed on the tear-out subscription cards from one of the magazines I picked up at the store. If you go to the NatGeo for LitKids website they only have the one year price listed. If you intend to get two years, it is a better deal to buy with the card. (Unless, of course, Amazon's price of $24.95 for 1 year, 6 issues is a typo and they actually mean 2 years, which I doubt.)
