my mother gifted me a one-year subscription to ARTnews at the end of june, and my first issue has just arrived today, july 20th. i wish i could claim excitement, but i am looking at the june issue of ARTnews, out for probably two months now (seeing as how most periodicals come out in the two weeks before their date). i feel like there is a massive stack of magazines mildewing in one of amazon's warehouses, and i just helped recycle one of those. . . . maybe i should try to sell my old phone books on amazon's subscription site next.
i know amazon's profits are down with the recession, but that is no excuse to assume a profit-over-product attitude towards the customer.
i will not order another subscription through amazon, nor will i recommend it to my friends. Get more detail about ARTnews.
