My son is now 6 years old & he's been getting this magazine for the past 2 years. It's been perfect for his age. We enjoy reading all of the stories together & he really enjoys the activities. Hidden pictures & finding what's wrong in the pictures are in almost every magazine & he never gets tired of it. The reading level has been great for his age. He helps read along with me. The stories aren't too long that he gets bored or restless.
There does seem to be some Spanish in every magazine as well & although it's not too much (normally just in 1 story) I think at this age that it's too difficult to introduce another language. We're trying to teach them to read English at this point. I think it would be great if High Five had a Spanish version for those that want it but for those that don't need it I think they're too young to be introduced. With that being said, I have no problems with this magazine & I think it's great for any preschooler & I highly recommend it.Get more detail about Highlights High Five.
