I am not sure what I expected but Budget Travel did not do anything for me. My wife and I are in our 30s and have a desire to see the United States and the rest of the world. I was hoping for reviews of resorts and cruise lines and fun trips that were planned out for us. Most of the places reviewed did not interest us and seemed to be geared towards older couples who had time to take weeks off for a vacation. By the end of the year it seemed like the magazine was becoming very predictible.
I did enjoy the tips from other travelers and the prices on the cheapest vacations were nice to browse. My suggestion is to make the magazine more hip or at least have a section on travel for the younger crowd. Get more detail about Arthur Frommer's Budget Travel.
